The Byrum Law Offices is a general practice firm.  Our forte and experience has been in the field of litigation of various types.  Litigation is not always the best route to solve your legal problems, however.  Sometimes attorneys need to "think outside the box" in order to best assist their clients.  A 2 person law firm, we don't endeavor to work on matters which would best be resolved with a large staff.  Accordingly, we don't tend to involve ourselves in real estate closings, complex transactional work, patent and trademark registration, and the like.  We choose not to involve ourselves in domestic relations or juvenile matters.

We find that we best serve our clients when we can focus individual attention to our clients' individual problems.  We view ourselves as either problem solvers or problem avoiders - depending upon when our clients call upon us to assist them.

Clients

Clients of The Byrum Law Offices, P.C., range from individuals to small, mid-sized, and large companies.  We tend to represent employers rather than employees in employment disputes, but as such, our experience on the employer side often serves us well in handling an employee matter.

While some of our individual clients hope not to need our services again (criminal defense matters come to mind), most of our clients tend to be repeat clients.  Why is that?  We can only assume that they were satisfied with our work for them.

We have listed on the "Reported Cases of Note" page a few cases with which we have been involved which may be of interest.  Most of our cases will not interest the general public as they are quiet matters in about which our clients are not particularly interested in having the general public know.

Whether it is a personal injury matter in which we obtain a good settlement or trial verdict for a client or perhaps a regulatory matter in which we help a client resolve an OSHA citation, each case is important to us and important to our client. 

Goals

Our goal is to find solutions to your legal problems.  Sometimes that requires litigation - but sometimes litigation is not the best solution.  We endeavor to think "outside the box" to come up with innovative solutions to your problems.
